What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue building, validating, and improving actuarial models and reporting processes for life, health, or long-term care insurance, while mentoring colleagues and contributing to complex model governance and business initiatives.

I'm currently at Genworth Financial, where I implement and validate long-term care model changes, support quarterly production cycles, and resolve modeling issues affecting reporting and analysis.

I serve as a subject matter expert across LTC actuarial models in AXIS, lead annual ALM model updates for cash-flow testing, and mentor associates on AXIS proficiency.

Previously at KPMG, I managed health and life insurance audits across US GAAP, Statutory, IFRS, and Tax reporting. I also supported LDTI adoption through actuarial model transformations and conversions to Moody’s AXIS across disability, supplemental health, dental, LTC, and life products.

My background also includes building GAAP and STAT valuation models at Continental General Insurance and performing reserve, IBNR, Medicare Part D, OPEB, and health insurance rate filing work. I work in English and Spanish and bring hands-on experience with AXIS, SQL, Alteryx, SAS, R, VBA, and insurance valuation systems.
