Tanu Aggarwal (B23MT1043)

I am a Metallurgy and Materials Engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur with hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, hardware prototyping, and product design. I combine engineering fundamentals with practical implementation to solve real-world problems.

As a research intern at Portulans Institute, I contributed to indicator-level research, structured data collection, dataset validation, and comparative analysis to support global indices. I translate complex datasets into well-documented research outputs and actionable insights.

My project work includes an Arduino-based street light fault detection system, a CNN for brain tumor classification, distressed-banks data analysis, and route optimization using Dijkstra’s algorithm and 2-opt. I also contribute to UI/UX design and website development for student product initiatives.

I bring technical proficiency in Python, C/C++, data structures and algorithms, advanced Excel, and visualization tools, alongside leadership experience in event management, guest relations, and cross-functional collaboration. I seek roles where I can apply analytics and engineering to build impactful products.
