Tamonash Basu

I'm a business and operations professional with an MBA in Sports Management and experience across project delivery, business development, strategy, partnerships, talent evaluation, and stakeholder management.

Most recently, I joined Tennis Premier League as Head of Operations, working in a professional sports environment with responsibilities spanning operational planning, vendor and stakeholder coordination, event delivery, and cross-functional execution.

Previously, at Conscient Sports, I managed a grassroots project in Delhi-NCR delivered in collaboration with Delhi Capitals and the Real Madrid Football Foundation. My work spanned multi-venue operations, P&L Management, business development, partner and contract negotiations, cross-functional coordination, and the development of scalable operating processes. This experience gave me a practical understanding of how to manage complex projects, balance commercial and operational priorities, and bring multiple stakeholders together to deliver results.

My earlier experience includes football scouting with Total Football Analysis, where I worked on player evaluation and analytical decision-making, as well as athlete management at KIBI Sports and event operations within professional sport. Across these roles, I've learned to work with different kinds of stakeholders, make decisions using both qualitative and quantitative information, and navigate environments where effective execution matters as much as planning.

Beyond any one industry, I'm interested in solving business problems, improving how teams operate, building effective processes, managing projects from planning through delivery, and identifying opportunities for growth. I enjoy bringing structure to ambiguous situations, taking ownership of outcomes, and working across functions to turn ideas into practical results.

I'm now exploring opportunities across industries, particularly in business operations, project and programme management, strategy and business development, implementation, partnerships, and consulting. I'm especially interested in remote-first organisations that value ownership, clear communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams.

My background is rooted in sport, but the skills I've developed are transferable to businesses of different sizes and sectors. I'm looking for a role where I can contribute from day one, expand my capabilities, and take on increasing responsibility as the organisation grows.
