Talha Arif

I'm a WordPress and PHP developer with 8+ years of experience building custom WordPress websites, scalable WooCommerce stores and Laravel applications for businesses in the US, UK, Canada and Europe.

Most recently, as Backend Developer at Propshop, I built custom WordPress plugins, admin panels and settings pages, extended WooCommerce through hooks and filters, and integrated third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs and marketing tools. I was also responsible for keeping the platform stable, secure and fast, from fixing plugin conflicts to optimizing backend performance.

Before that, I worked as a freelance full-stack developer for over four years, building custom and headless WordPress themes and plugins, WooCommerce checkout flows and Laravel applications. I integrated Stripe, Salesforce and Klaviyo, automated eCommerce workflows to reduce manual work, and added AI chatbot features to improve customer support.

I've worked on websites for brands such as Tentree, iPullRank, Neubria, Easy Living Spaces and CatapalloVR, across eCommerce, health and wellness, marketing and VR training.

Core skills: WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, MySQL, REST APIs, custom plugin and theme development, Stripe, Salesforce, Klaviyo, GHL, AWS, DigitalOcean and performance optimization. I also use AI tools like Claude and Cursor to work faster.

I'm looking for a remote WordPress, WooCommerce or PHP/Laravel role with a team that values clean code, clear communication and long-term work.
