At PayPay, I architected a virtual prepaid card platform serving 3M users and processing ¥2.6B GMV across 702K transactions in 2025. I also designed distributed transaction systems for real-time and offline payments, maintaining consistency across microservices.
On PayPay’s Card Feature team, I led backend architecture for physical card transaction synchronization and credit card terminal data management. I also helped establish PCI-DSS controls and CI/CD standards for payment platforms.
On PayPay’s digital payroll platform, I designed payment flows and led microservice development for payroll processing, virtual accounts, and real-time transaction orchestration. I also established disaster recovery procedures capable of restoring systems within six hours.
Earlier at PayPay, I worked on payment infrastructure and the Myna-Point rewards platform. At Oracle Japan, I participated in cloud proof-of-concept projects and built Python data collection pipelines; at NinNin Co Japan, I developed backend APIs for the TabiTabi travel reservation platform.
