What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role in a dynamic environment where I can build scalable Python/FastAPI backends and apply data-driven analytics to solve complex problems, support data-driven decision-making, and keep learning with a collaborative team.

I’m a highly motivated Python Backend Developer and Data Analyst with a background in Botany and an “keen interest in Data Science.” I combine analytical thinking with production-minded engineering to solve complex problems and support data-driven decision-making.

At Elsoft Tech Hub, I’ve contributed to the design and development of scalable, high-performance backends and APIs for production-grade applications. I’ve designed RESTful APIs and microservices with FastAPI and SQLModel, engineered secure authentication and authorization using JWT tokens and role-based access control, and built robust database schemas with PostgreSQL and Alembic.

I care deeply about quality and reliability—using pytest-based testing, structured logging, and consistent error handling. I’ve also implemented asynchronous programming patterns to improve performance and scalability, and optimized queries to reduce endpoint response times.

Beyond backend engineering, I’ve delivered impactful data work: I helped develop predictive modeling during my Data Science Internships, and I built an AI-powered church recommendation system MVP with over 85% match accuracy during pilot testing. I also served as a Project manager, creating timelines, allocating resources, and bridging stakeholders with the technical team to keep work aligned on usability, performance, and security.
