Taine Trimmel
@tainetrimmel
Research Analyst leveraging R, Python, and data visualization to deliver broadcast and insights-driven decisions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Research Analyst focused on turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. At AmpereAnalysis, I conduct analysis of broadcast renewals across South Africa, France, MENA, and Sub-Saharan Africa, building large datasets in Excel and supporting decision-making with structured research.
I built and maintained broadcast trackers for different sports leagues to monitor broadcasting rights across multiple markets. I also created insights and published 3 insights with infographics using data, combining analysis with clear storytelling.
Previously, as a Data Technician at Above Surveying, I examined drone-captured thermal imagery of solar farms to identify errors and anomalies on the panels. I documented findings, produced technical reports, and created/compiled image datasets into a legible format for review and analysis.
I bring a strong analytical foundation from my BSc Honours in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology, with coursework including Reporting, Bioinformatics, R-Coding, Population Stats, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I’m currently working on R-based data cleaning for AmpereAnalysis sports data, and I’ve also built an Emotion Detection System focused on data cleaning, transformation, summaries, and visualization.
