At the Multifunctional Nanomaterials Lab, University of Kashmir, I engineer visible-light-active perovskite heterojunctions for photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes. I’ve also fabricated rare-earth MOFs on flexible substrates for optoelectronic screening and synthesized rare-earth garnet nanostructures using microwave-assisted solvothermal synthesis.
My work includes one-step carbon-dot synthesis that demonstrated antibacterial efficacy against MDR E. coli, with results published in BioNanoScience in 2024. I also co-founded GoFindd and led end-to-end product development; the startup received the Innovative Technology Award at Startup India JK-Startup Yatra 2018.
