At IIT Gandhinagar, I’m synthesizing ruthenium-arene BODIPY conjugates and investigating their potential as theranostic agents, including photocatalytic and photodynamic therapy applications.
In a separate project, I synthesized benzimidazoles from substituted aldehydes and o-phenylenediamines using porphyrin-catalysed photoredox reactions under mild conditions. The manuscript is under preparation.
I’ve presented my research at the CRSI Zonal Symposium and the National Conference on CITDD-2025, where my poster received an award from the American Chemical Society.
