What I'm looking for

I am seeking roles that enable leading interdisciplinary research and translating nanomaterials into sustainable industrial applications, with strong academia–industry collaboration and mentorship opportunities.

I am a Principal Investigator at Sabanci University's SUNUM Research Institute, leading interdisciplinary research in nanotechnology, circular economy, and high‑density energy storage devices. Over a 12+ year PhD and postdoctoral research trajectory, I have developed magnetic nanostructures, bio‑composites, and next‑generation electrolytes with practical environmental and industrial applications.

Previously an Assistant Professor and research fellow, I have supervised numerous undergraduate, masters, and PhD projects, designed courses in nanotechnology and environmental chemistry, and guided over 30 research projects to completion. My work includes patents, industrial collaborations, and funded research across Malaysia, Pakistan, and Turkey.

I actively publish, present, and review for international journals and conferences, and I hold memberships with the American Chemical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and EU expert panels. I seek to translate advanced materials research into sustainable, scalable technologies through academia–industry partnerships.
