At Cognizant, I build and harden Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and manage AWS environments for application teams. I’ve provisioned and managed more than 75 servers and sustained 99% patch compliance through scheduled patching and validation.
I designed Ansible roles and playbooks, supported by Python and Bash scripts, to automate server configuration and application prerequisites. This reduced per-server setup time from 18 hours to 20 minutes.
I also developed GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, publishing Docker images, and deployment, cutting release cycles from three weeks to a maximum of four days. I diagnose production incidents using Splunk log analysis and Linux diagnostics, and coordinate root cause analysis with application and infrastructure teams.
