What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue hands-on architecture and backend engineering work, especially modernizing enterprise systems, evaluating technical trade-offs, and solving complex integration challenges.

At Naovis, I help design a greenfield modernization project that progressively replaces an established InterSystems IRIS legacy system. I contribute to technology evaluation, system boundaries, architecture trade-offs, Hexagonal Architecture, and Architecture Decision Records.

Over nine years, I've delivered backend features, REST services, integrations, and business workflows across Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Python, and enterprise InterSystems Cache/IRIS systems. I've become a key technical contact for diagnosing complex platform issues while remaining hands-on with implementation and modernization work.

I've also built multi-million-row data workflows at Datopian, a low-latency medical-device data-integration service, and backend functionality for a production appointment-booking platform on AWS.
