What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a senior backend role in a fintech or payments team where I can own reliable systems end to end, work at real-world scale, and focus on system quality, observability, and clean architecture.

At Allica Bank, I build backend services for business current-account onboarding, migrations, payments, and integration platforms in a regulated fintech environment. I owned account switching from beta to live, supporting approximately 20% month-on-month growth in business migrations.

I build reliable event-driven systems using Kotlin, Spring Boot, Azure, and Service Bus, including a migration from Azure Event Grid with DLQ and retry patterns. I also delivered audit logging, payee validation, operational tooling, and payment integrations that reduced mail-server load by 65% and helped increase Xero/Sage adoption by 68% year on year.

I also prototype and ship practical GenAI tooling, including an AI agent for FCA REP20 reporting and a guarded Claude Code second-brain system for engineering context.
