I’m looking for a senior role where I can build and operate reliable Azure-based services and end-to-end data platforms, with ownership from architecture through production, strong security and SOC 2 practices, and measurable impact on developer productivity and SLAs.

I’m a senior software engineer with 7+ years of experience building and operating high-scale, customer-facing cloud services. A former Microsoft engineer (2.5 years in WebXT) I bring deep expertise in Azure infrastructure, .NET, and large-scale service reliability.

At Vayle Inc, I owned the end-to-end development of ATIP/FOI case management and privacy impact assessment solutions for government and police clients across Canada. I managed full stack and Azure operations—driving live debugging, and reliability and security improvements in production—while modernizing the software delivery lifecycle with CI/CD and internal tooling.

That modernization reduced developer operational effort by 92% and helped support SOC 2 compliance through improved security controls and processes. Previously at Microsoft, I led architecture and delivery of internal tooling and infrastructure for the broader Bing engineering organization, built on Azure, PowerShell, .NET, and PowerBI.

I’ve delivered measurable impact at scale: a Cloud Workstation that improved productivity by 20–30% for 6,000+ engineers, and a request fingerprinting system for Bing.com that detects and prevents DDoS attacks in real time while adding only 10 microseconds of overhead to a 10ms SLA target. I also served as a DRI for on-call incident response, and helped ensure 99.5% SLA compliance through proactive monitoring, stakeholder communication, and rapid escalation.
