I am an experienced Applied Scientist with over 7 years of expertise in both academia and industry, focusing on interdisciplinary problem-solving. My journey has taken me through two early-stage startups where I developed advanced NLP and machine learning solutions, building multimodal information retrieval systems that transform low-resource research into scalable applications.

Currently, I am working at Sequantrix GmbH, where I lead the development of a large-scale data mining framework for biomedical data. My work includes creating advanced embedding techniques for complex multi-label classification and establishing high-fidelity data validation protocols. I have a proven track record of achieving significant performance improvements and managing teams to deliver high-quality datasets.

My academic background includes a PhD in Translational Data Science from RWTH Aachen University, where I am expected to graduate in June 2025. I hold an MSc in Software Systems Engineering, which has equipped me with a solid foundation in software development and data science methodologies.
