At IBM, I work on AFS, a scale-out distributed file system, contributing to performance, scalability, and reliability across Linux and macOS. I’ve designed, debugged, and optimized storage Data I/O and Data Path components, including Linux kernel modules and VFS integration.
My OpenAFS work includes kernel compatibility enhancements, cache management, authentication, and Control Path operations. I use GDB, crash dump analysis, SystemTap, and eBPF to investigate complex filesystem and kernel issues.
At Dell, I contributed to NetWorker backup and recovery components, including CloudBoost, cloning, and recovery workflows. I owned a critical block-based backup module end-to-end and worked on multithreaded C components for backup, restore, and storage management.
Earlier, I developed Linux endpoint DLP features at Digital Guardian, including kernel modules and system-call hooking. Across my work, I’ve also contributed to Linux device drivers, embedded communication protocols, Kubernetes deployments, and Python automation.
