Subham Shrestha
@subhamshrestha
Final-year Computer Science student focused on ML/NLP, systems research, and building efficient, scalable AI solutions.
What I'm looking for
I am a final-year Computer Science student with a strong foundation in systems, machine learning, and NLP, actively translating academic research into practical AI solutions. I have co-authored peer-reviewed publications and contribute to research labs focused on efficient, scalable models.
My research spans deep learning optimization, transformer models, and memory- and compute-aware training strategies; I am currently developing domain-specific LLM solutions to simplify medical reports and investigating user perceptions in interface design. These projects have sharpened my skills in model fine-tuning, evaluation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
On the applied side, I have built production-oriented projects including a deepfake detection system (custom CNN and fine-tuned ResNet-18), a bilingual sentiment-analysis extension with a FastAPI backend, and an AI-driven healthcare app using GPT-4 for OCR and simplification. I completed a mobile developer internship where I designed UIs in Figma and implemented performant Kotlin components.
I seek roles that let me contribute to high-impact, interdisciplinary AI and systems research or engineering—where I can continue publishing, build scalable infrastructure, and optimize models for real-world constraints while working with collaborative teams.
