Steven Flynn
@stevenflynn
Petroleum engineer specializing in joint operations, artificial lift, sand control, and AFE/economic analysis to optimize production.
What I'm looking for
I’m a petroleum engineer experienced optimizing oil and gas production in U.S. Basins, with proven strengths in joint interest operations, workovers, artificial lift, sand control, plugging, and field operations. I’m comfortable from the daily field perspective through AFE/economic decision-making, including type curve reviews and economic analysis.
In my current Joint Operations Engineer role, I summarize weekly operations across drilling and completion activities, assist in evaluating new drilling and completion AFEs, and evaluate AFEs for routine workovers to upgrade artificial lift, recompletions, conversions, deepenings, and plugging. I also conduct semi-annual economic look-back reviews by comparing actual production and LOE against modeled AFE economics, and I elect on non-op AFEs using marginal economics and negative cash flow risk—always focused on cost control and operational strategy.
