At the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, I undertake structural modelling and design for steel roof structures using Tekla Structures. I coordinate the structural framing model with overall building and architectural requirements.
On the Mush 3 Apartments Project, I work on structural BIM modelling, analysis and reinforced-concrete design, coordinating design information with architectural layouts and reviewing details for constructability.
For the Taita Taveta Development, I work on structural modelling and design for a multi-building development that includes an auditorium, library, hostels and classroom facilities.
Earlier, as a Site Supervisor at Goldworks, I reviewed structural designs and detailing across projects, supervised site construction and coordinated contractors. My work also includes structural engineering and project management roles, as well as materials testing at Kenya Materials Laboratory.
