At the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing & Urban Development, I assisted with the design and implementation of slum-upgrading projects. I also contributed to project proposals and site assessments.
I used AutoCAD and Revit for technical drawings, prepared reports on site evaluations, and estimated quantities and material costs. I monitored project progress for compliance with safety standards and regulations.
On a Technical University of Kenya school project, I contributed to construction of a new school block by supporting site preparation, material movement, and daily construction activities. I also collaborated with the Slum Upgrading Department on the Kibera Zone B affordable housing and Mariguini Social Housing Project.
