Steven Wambua

I am a civil engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi and hands-on experience in structural design and site supervision.

In my current role as Construction Supervisor at Asper Engineering Company, I inspect formwork, rebar, concreting and curing, manage project documentation, and coordinate with architects, subcontractors and surveyors to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.

Previously, as a civil engineer on the Thwake Multi-Purpose Dam project with China Gezhouba Group, I supervised construction at the employer’s camp site (30 residential buildings, 2 commercial buildings and playgrounds), performed quality control for embankment materials, and recorded daily progress across multiple subcontractors.

I have designed working drawings for pipe and box culverts and single/multiple span bridges, conducted geotechnical investigations and material quantity calculations, and I prioritize safety, compliance and efficient, ethical project delivery as I continue to broaden my technical skills and practical experience.
