What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level biomedical engineering role where I can maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot medical devices safely, document service logs, and improve uptime—while learning preventive-maintenance best practices and evidence-based healthcare technology management.

I’m a highly motivated B.Tech Medical Engineering graduate (Kirinyaga University, 2025) with demonstrated expertise in biomedical instrumentation, healthcare technology management, and medical equipment maintenance. Through two industrial attachments at Kakamega General Hospital, I built hands-on capability across ICU, renal, theatre, and diagnostic imaging while staying focused on safe, cost-effective device solutions.

I perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and corrective repairs, and I conduct equipment performance testing and safety checks in line with hospital biomedical engineering standards. Alongside my engineering training, I support real-world service delivery through freelance technical work—installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis—bringing an evidence-based, patient-outcome mindset to every task.
