My skills complement big thinkers and technical people. I fill gaps in details, planning and communication because I enjoy bringing together different people to accomplish a goal.

I once solved a problem quickly for a doctor who was aggravated that he was getting the run around at the hospital where I worked. He said, “Stephanie, you GSD.” After he explained to me what that meant, I breathed a sigh of relief and proudly realized it was true. I can be relentless (in a good way) because I empathize people who want their problems solved.

Smoothing over rough edges is my jam. A VP at the same former job said I was a great buffer. While not necessarily the most flattering comment, she was a bull in a china shop, so I counted that as a win.

Speaking of a china shop, my first real job was in sales in the Gift Galleries (crystal and china) at Neiman Marcus. I applied those same excellent customer-service skills throughout my career, winding up in health care, where all patients deserve nothing less than the best.

Life has thrown me some curveballs and it is time for a change! Whatever your industry, I will pay attention to the details and treat your customers like gold. As for my listening ability, I have had a cartoon of Lucy from Peanuts offering advice, taped to my door twice in my life.
