Stelios Giannoulis
@steliosgiannoulis
I build data engineering and analytics solutions across cloud platforms.
United KingdomWhat I'm looking for
I'm a Lead Data Engineer at Capgemini, following nearly three years as a Senior Data Engineer there. I bring 6+ years of hands-on experience across data engineering and data analysis.
At Passion for Life Healthcare, I worked across data engineering, analytics, and data science, using Python, SQL, Google BigQuery, Azure, GCP, Microsoft SQL Server, ETL, statistics, and data visualization. I also led mobile app development as a Technical Project Manager.
During a dedicated data upskilling period, I translated a 200K+ Greek landfire-event dataset into English with Python and developed predictive-analytics capability. I trained in Apache Beam, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, dbt, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, Scrum, and Azure data engineering.
My background also includes leading commentary control-room and cabling teams for Olympic Broadcasting Services, including the Tokyo, Paris, Pyeongchang, Rio, London, Sochi, Vancouver, Beijing, and Athens Games. I’m comfortable breaking complex problems into smaller tasks, communicating with expert and non-expert audiences, and working in fast-paced multicultural environments.
