Stavros Moutsis
@stavrosmoutsis
AI & computer vision engineer focused on human action recognition and intelligent visual systems.
What I'm looking for
I’m an AI & Computer Vision Engineer and PhD Candidate working remotely in Greece, building machine and deep learning systems for problems like human action recognition. My recent work spans athlete training monitoring, employee training systems, and explainable sentiment and user-feedback pipelines—always aiming for models that are both effective and interpretable.
In my engineering roles across projects such as DeepTrain, GREECE4.0, TraMIR, and SafeIT, I developed and applied visual learning methods using wearable data (e.g., accelerometers, heart rate, oxygen levels) and CCTV footage. I also supported digitization workflows through the DMC-Lexi initiative, implementing an annotation tool and GUI connected to a MySQL database, and training a deep learning model to detect lemmas and definitions in dictionary images.
