At Malawi Civil Aviation Authority, I conduct safety oversight and airworthiness surveillance, enforce Malawi Civil Aviation Regulations and ICAO SARPs, and evaluate structural, mechanical, and maintenance compliance issues. I also develop regulatory framework updates for emerging technologies, including BVLOS drones.
At Josta Enterprises (Lemba Chalk), I designed custom machinery installation and mounting components using 3D CAD and static FEA, and facilitated equipment acquisition and installation. The plant's production throughput increased from 100 pcs/min to 800 pcs/min.
My Newcastle University projects included designing and optimizing a thermosiphon solar water heater with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and ANSYS Fluent, and designing and load-testing a crane hook. I also co-founded NVB Group, where I spearheaded a digital growth strategy that increased audience reach from under 2,500 subscribers to over 65,000 and accumulated 12M+ total views.
