Kelvin Mwale

At Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS), I conducted mechanical, physical, and non-destructive testing, including UT, MT, and PT, in accordance with ASTM and ISO standards.

I analyzed tensile, hardness, and corrosion testing datasets to prepare compliance and root cause analysis reports. I also supported equipment calibration and maintained laboratory safety and sample traceability.

At the Department of Geological Survey – Ministry of Mining, I prepared mineral and geological samples for laboratory characterization and analysis, and supported field investigations and technical documentation.

Earlier, as an Undergraduate Engineer Intern at the Department of Mines, I assisted with mineral processing investigations, engineering inspections, and quality control. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), and I'm a Registered Graduate Engineer with Malawi Engineering Institution (MEI).
