At QuillBot, I architected the PDF Tools platform from concept to production and delivered document-processing systems for products including Background Remover, Plagiarism Checker, AI Detector, and AI Chat. I designed asynchronous processing with Redis and BullMQ to handle compute-intensive workloads while keeping application flows responsive.
I also led production delivery of Background Remover, including model evaluation with InSPyReNet, and added caching that eliminated redundant processing and reduced latency and costs. For AI Detector, I built document history, sharing, and usage-limit features that contributed to a 60% increase in premium conversions.
Before QuillBot, I architected a multi-tenant SaaS platform at KAMI VISION and led the cloud migration of eight applications to AWS. At DOCON, I built video consultation and EMR experiences, including performance improvements that reduced application load time from 13 seconds to 3 seconds.
