What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level quality/lab role where I can apply spectroscopy, sampling plans, and data tracking to strengthen safety, regulatory compliance, and consistent product quality—supported by a team that values accountability and operational excellence.

I’m a detail-oriented chemist with a foundation in systematic research and performance tracking. I enjoy sourcing, analyzing, and presenting technical data to meet rigorous regulatory compliance, while staying focused on safety and quality control.

As a Quality Analyst – Intern at East African Maltings Limited, I reduced raw material inspection time by using sampling plan procedures to support barley intake specifications. I also helped improve final product quality consistency by ensuring raw materials met the required cleaning and drying parameters.

In my Quality Analyst – Attachee role with the Ministry of Mining Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, I prepared ore samples by coding, drying, and crushing to increase throughput while maintaining sample integrity. I conducted acid digestion on selected ore samples to determine target elements using Atomic Absorption and X-ray Fluorescence spectrophotometers.

I’m motivated by applied research and practical outcomes, shown through my eight-month undergraduate project removing benzene (a BTEX compound) from synthetic wastewater using cypress cones biochar adsorption capacity. I bring organization, critical thinking, and teamwork to support effective workflows, accountability, and operational excellence.
