Monitored anesthesia for patients and supported surgical and dental procedures including IV catheter placement, injections, sterile pack prep, and full-mouth dental radiographs. Managed client calls, post-operative instructions, and calculated medication doses to complete prescriptions.

Performed patient intake histories and triaged more critical cases while supporting endoscopy, biopsy handling for histopathology, and in-house diagnostics. Produced radiographs, ran lab work, created client estimates, and assisted with ultrasounds and diagnostic CT scans.

Conducted ocular exams using STT, tonometry, and fluorescein stain testing while monitoring patients during surgeries and sedation. Performed preanesthetic phlebotomy and supported ophthalmic procedures, including assisting cataract surgery and enucleation for two penguins at the New England Aquarium.

Managed clinic inventory by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and sustaining availability during backorders. Used Ezyvet to adjust inventory values and add new product codes, and trained coworkers toward certification.

Led treatment-floor structure and workflow by assigning technicians, coordinating schedules, and ensuring tasks were completed efficiently. Performed and assisted with dental extractions including bur/section techniques and suturing under veterinarian supervision, while teaching dental radiograph and prophylaxis/scaling best practices.

Maintained accurate client and clinical records using SmartFlow and Cornerstone software while expanding experience with ultrasound technology for cystocentesis. Supported diagnostic and treatment procedures as a registered veterinary technician.

Performed phlebotomy, cystocentesis, radiology, and digital X-rays, and provided anesthesia support including intubation, monitoring, and recovery support. Calculated surgical drug doses, performed diabetes blood glucose curves, educated clients on insulin care, and supported dental imaging and lab testing with IDEXX analyzers.

Supervised canine patients during pool-based therapy and supported underwater treadmill sessions. Provided massage therapy and stretching while ensuring safe handling and movement throughout rehabilitation activities.

Assisted with phlebotomy, radiographic imaging, and patient restraint for procedures including nail trims, injections, and intubation. Supported front-desk operations by checking clients in/out, scheduling appointments, drawing vaccines for veterinarians, and prepping animals for surgery.

Managed dog boarding and daycare by supervising socialization, feeding, and administering medications as needed. Handled client communication, scheduling, and payments while keeping kennels clean and dry.

Activities and societies: Received 4-year Merit Scholarship and 4-year Board of Trustees Scholarship. Completed Mount Ida College internships (130 hours each) including Sterling Impression Animal Rehabilitation of New England, Veterinary Dermatology of New England, New England Animal Medical Center, Boston Veterinary Specialists, IVG Hospitals, and Southborough Veterinary Hospital.

Earned a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from Mount Ida College. Completed multiple clinical internships through the program and received merit and Board of Trustees scholarships.
