I’m a professional and experienced RVT who provides exemplary animal care and manages the overall well-being of small and large animals. I’m hands-on with surgical and dental assistance, while also monitoring anesthesia and patient well-being throughout care.
I bring strong emergency and specialty support experience, overseeing specialty cases associated with Internal Medicine and assisting with diagnostic endoscopy procedures. I’m comfortable with hospitalized patients, incoming ER cases, emergent surgeries, and abdominal ultrasounds, and I focus on thorough documentation and follow-through.
Across high-volume shelter and ER settings, I help ensure quality health through daily rounds, brief examinations, and in-house diagnostics when needed. I also support critical stabilization tasks including IV catheter placement, central lines, nasogastric tubes, ECG continuous monitoring, radiographs, CPR, and preparation for blood/plasma transfusions.
I’m equally strong in anesthesia protocols and lab compliance, following anesthetic protocols and maintaining anesthetic drug logs. I’ve also partnered with research teams while performing IACUC- and AALAT-guided husbandry duties, and I’ve taken on leadership responsibilities like onboarding training with personalized checklists and managing schedules, hiring, training, and hospital protocols.
