What I'm looking for

I’m looking to improve AI language products by combining linguistic error analysis with evaluation pipelines—translating theory into actionable fixes. I want to collaborate with ML and business teams, scale quality across languages, and build reliable assessment workflows.

I’m a computational and theoretical linguist who builds pipelines for evaluating AI-driven machine translation and speech technologies. I turn linguistic insights into practical product improvements through rigorous linguistic error analysis.

In my recent full-time role at Palabra.ai, I designed and implemented language quality assessment protocols for multilingual AI voice-to-voice interpretation products. I managed a network of 80+ language consultants across 40+ languages to evaluate speech recognition, machine translation, and text-to-speech quality.

I also work as an independent linguistic consultant, auditing and rating AI-generated text and speech while designing rubric/guideline frameworks and conducting cross-lingual error analysis. I provide translation, proofreading, and editing across Russian and English, and I teach English and Russian as a foreign language.

Before industry roles, I supported research work at the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the “Database of Semantic Shifts” (datsemshift.ru) and built dataset markup foundations and corpora adaptations for computational linguistics projects. I’m especially motivated by work that connects theory, annotation, and evaluation into measurable language quality outcomes.
