I’m an Analytical Investment & Fund Accounting Specialist with 4+ years of experience in asset management. I focus on NAV calculations, financial reporting, and fund performance analysis—turning complex numbers into decision-ready insights.

In my current role as a Junior Valuation Specialist at GAEL Group, I perform accurate, timely NAV calculations across investment portfolios. I analyze portfolio valuations, identify discrepancies, and support Annual Financial Statements and audits while improving reconciliation and reporting processes.

Previously at Maitland Group (now Apex Group), I worked as a Fund Accountant handling end-to-end compliance reporting and daily NAV pricing for multiple fund types, including Fund of Funds, Money Market, and Unit Trust funds. I calculated and validated fund performance, service fees, performed cash reconciliations, managed income distributions, and prepared Quarterly TER reports and C23 submissions to the SARB.

I’m consistently client- and stakeholder-focused, responding to internal and client queries while maintaining accurate fund administration and reporting. With advanced Excel and a growing interest in investment analysis and reporting, I bring a strong process improvement mindset to ensure regulatory compliance and reliable outputs.
