What I'm looking for

I seek roles where I can apply and expand my audit and accounting skills, work within strong control environments, mentor juniors, and progress toward professional registration.

I am an ambitious, dedicated accountant with experience across private and public sectors, including statutory audits and fund accounting. I prepare annual financial statements under full IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, perform tax and VAT calculations, and compile management accounts with clear financial commentary.

As an audit senior and SAICA trainee I have led audit planning, executed tests of controls and substantive procedures, reviewed financial statements, and coached junior staff. I have worked with accounting systems such as Syspro, QuickBooks and Xero, and I have experience with reconciliations, fixed asset registers, and valuation and NAV statement preparation.

I pursue accurate, timely reporting and strong internal controls, providing recommendations to mitigate risk and improve processes. I am organized, detail oriented, a fast learner and a team player who seeks to add value and continue professional growth toward AGA(SA) registration.
