Simone Marongiu

I’m a Backend .NET Engineer with experience designing and developing enterprise-grade web applications across modern and legacy ecosystems. I focus on scalable backend architectures, distributed communication, authentication infrastructures, and production-ready automation.

At Whitehall Reply, I designed and developed enterprise backend services and REST APIs using ASP.NET Core for both new projects and large-scale existing systems. I work across heterogeneous environments, including .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 6/8, and support modernization and migration initiatives from legacy architectures to modern distributed solutions.

I apply CQRS, Clean Architecture, and Onion Architecture to build scalable backend modules, and I’ve engineered distributed communication flows using SignalR, Rebus, and Redis for asynchronous processing and real-time synchronization across multi-instance deployments. I integrate Keycloak through OAuth2 and OpenID Connect, optimize database performance via query analysis, index redesign, and stored procedure refactoring, and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with multi-stage workflows and release automation.

I take ownership of backend delivery and long-term maintainability, including high-availability solutions that support concurrent workloads and multi-instance deployments. I also support onboarding, contribute to technical documentation, and help teams move faster through clear workflows.
