I validate Suricata IDS coverage with real-world attack scenarios, identify detection gaps, and work with Detection Engineering to improve signature quality and reduce false positives. I also developed Python automation for technique mapping, signature validation, batch attack execution, and report generation, reducing manual testing effort by 40%.
