I’m a backend engineer focused on building production-ready RESTful APIs end-to-end—schema design, API layer, authentication, and deployment. I enjoy hardening security boundaries by centralizing auth and authorization instead of scattering logic across route handlers.

I authored dbSmash, a published npm CLI that automates multi-database schema scaffolding, generating schemas, models, seeders, and .env config using Gemini/OpenRouter. The project reflects how I think about developer experience: clear inputs, safe re-runs with prompts, and modular code that’s easy to extend.

In two product startup internships, I shipped HRMS API endpoints and improved backend efficiency with better database usage. I implemented aggregation-based ranking and refactored interview scheduling routes to reduce redundant queries by consolidating DB calls with $lookup—moving work closer to the data.

I also modernized authentication flows by migrating to httpOnly cookie tokens, adding CSRF validation, and introducing a Redis-backed rate limiter on auth routes. In parallel, I built production CMS and IoT-backed features that required careful role-based access control and reliable real-time updates.
