What I'm looking for

I’m looking to own end-to-end finance controls—month-end close, reconciliations, statutory audit readiness, and SOX/ICFR internal control reporting—while partnering across teams to improve ISP finance processes and deliver clear, timely management reporting.

I’ve worked across Finance and Accounts with General Motors’ corporate accounting group, supporting 3 India entities through month-end close, financial statement preparation, and supervised statutory audits. I’ve owned complex balance sheet reconciliations, month-end accruals, expense allocations, and General Ledger account analysis, including corrective entries and first-line value add analysis.

At General Motors, I also managed ISP controller responsibilities—budgets/forecasting, accounting, rebilling to other countries, and payment & tax compliances—while collaborating with tax teams to resolve reconciliation variances and employee aging issues. More recently, at British Telecom (BT), I coordinated monthly results/forecasts control and consolidation, complied with Sarbox standards, drove efficiencies, and supported timely audit deliverables while working closely with onshore leadership.
