Shivya Goyal

I am a data analyst and recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of South Florida, specializing in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. My career foundation is built on turning complex operational data into clear, actionable insights that drive efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Throughout my professional experience—such as my time as a Management Information Systems Analyst at USF PATS and a data intern at Reynaers Aluminium—I have focused on building automated ETL pipelines, writing advanced SQL queries, and designing interactive Tableau dashboards. I routinely partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define key business metrics, and streamline reporting workflows, having successfully automated daily processes that saved hours of manual effort and boosted operational throughput. On the technical side, I work extensively with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Prophet), R, SQL, and advanced Excel to tackle predictive modeling, customer churn classification, marketing attribution, and demand forecasting.

Outside of my technical work, I am deeply committed to continuous learning and staying active. I weightlift about four days a week, enjoy learning how to play tennis, and love exploring the outdoors and traveling.
