At EmailZap, I shipped a Gmail Chrome extension that brought search and automation into Gmail, reaching 1,000+ downloads, 100+ DAU and 300+ WAU. I built its content scripts, isolated styling and account authentication.
I also built LLM-assisted email search, improving “Gmail Exact” recall from 65.7% to 82.9% and “Gmail Relevant” F1 from 11.3% to 50.5% in 200-query evaluations. Weekly search usage increased by 27% over three weeks.
For EmailZap’s workflow engine, I used the Claude Agent SDK to support labelling, reply drafting and Gmail filters, cutting new-feature development time from two days to four hours. I also led a production migration of 8.3 million emails from SQL to MongoDB with zero data loss.
As a Backend Engineering Intern at VerbaFlo, I built WhatsApp and Vapi call automation that reduced manual screening and follow-up work by 40%. I also worked on reusable notification handling, service health alerts and Redis-backed chat sessions.
