Shidoo Azenda

At Central Avionics Overhaul and Calibration Centre (CAOCC), I received practical training in aircraft avionics and electrical systems. I performed basic electronic repairs, diagnosed electrical faults, and participated in maintenance procedures.

At 431 Engineering Group, NAF Base, Kaduna, I participated in maintenance of aircraft mechanical systems, including landing gear assemblies and Super Mushshak engine components. I also studied the configuration and operation of the Dornier Do228 and Super Mushshak aircraft.

For my final year project, I led the development of a smart street lighting prototype with motion detection and energy optimization. I coordinated the team from planning through testing and integrated sensors, an embedded controller, and communication modules.

I’ve also led a student team designing an automated fire detection and suppression prototype, and developed an air quality monitoring system using embedded electronics and microcontrollers. I’m building further capability in industrial automation and intelligent hardware systems.
