Samuel Asagwara

I’m a Mechatronics Engineering undergraduate with a growing focus on AI, software development, and practical engineering. My work sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and intelligent systems. I enjoy taking an idea from a rough concept and turning it into something that can actually be tested and used.

I’ve built and experimented with Python and C++ projects, electromechanical systems, and AI-powered tools, while developing practical engineering experience through projects such as an automatic street-lighting prototype. More recently, I’ve been spending much of my time exploring LLMs, AI agents, automation, computer interaction, and building useful AI systems rather than treating AI as just a chatbot.

Beyond engineering, I have experience in teaching, where I worked with students, explained concepts in simple ways, and collaborated with others to improve learning outcomes. I’ve also worked in a manufacturing environment supporting packaging and inventory processes, which taught me the importance of accuracy, consistency, and following processes carefully.

I also have a creative side. I’ve worked with Photoshop and Illustrator, produced and edited video content, and written three books focused on vocals and media development. These experiences have helped me become comfortable communicating ideas, learning independently, and working across both technical and creative disciplines.

I’m currently looking for opportunities where I can contribute to real-world AI and technology projects, learn from experienced people, and keep building the technical depth needed to become a strong engineer. I’m particularly interested in AI, data, software, automation, robotics, and tools that solve practical problems.
