What I'm looking for

I seek senior roles in central banking, regulation, or finance education where I can lead supervisory, policy, or training initiatives and mentor teams.

I am a senior banking executive with over 30 years of experience in the financial sector and about 16 years as a university faculty/adjunct faculty, including leadership roles at Bangladesh Bank and teaching positions in multiple universities. I completed a Ph.D. in Banking from the University of Dhaka after retiring from Bangladesh Bank as an Executive Director.

My career includes executive leadership in on-site supervision, foreign exchange policy, monetary operations, and implementation of major development projects such as the Financial Institutions Development Project and deregulation of the FX market. I have led inspection teams, coordinated with the Ministry of Finance, and represented Bangladesh Bank internationally.

I am skilled in training and curriculum development, having served as Treasurer and faculty member at the Canadian University of Bangladesh and as faculty at Bangladesh Bank Training Academy and Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management; I bring strong analytical, communication, and team leadership capabilities to roles focused on banking supervision, policy, and higher education.
