What I'm looking for

I’m seeking an entry-level SOC, security-monitoring or cybersecurity position where I can apply my laboratory training, contribute to investigations and documentation, and learn from experienced analysts. I’m open to remote, hybrid or on-site opportunities.

Through my independent SOC and cybersecurity laboratory training, I’ve practised reviewing Windows activity with Event Viewer and Sysmon, and analysing DNS and ICMP traffic in Wireshark. I use a repeatable investigation process: prepare a controlled environment, examine telemetry and document findings while preserving the evidence.

I’ve also practised SQL, SQLite and KQL querying, and completed introductory Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud exercises. I’m transparent that my cybersecurity experience is self-directed and lab-based, not production enterprise SOC employment; I’m looking to apply that foundation, contribute to investigations and documentation, and learn from experienced analysts.
