At Tata Advanced Systems Limited, I evaluated propeller geometries using 2D CFD analysis and tested and optimized two-stroke boxer IC engines for military UAVs.
With thrustMIT, I managed the end-to-end design and development of Project Varuna, a sounding rocket carrying a magnetic levitation payload. It ranked 9th worldwide in SRAD Solids and 3rd in Asia Overall at the IREC, and earned an Honorable Mention in the SDL Payload Challenge.
I also designed and directed static testing for Project Kali, an N-class solid rocket motor that achieved 10,285 N-s total impulse and average thrust of 3.5 kN. I directed five I-class research motor tests and applied DFA and DFM principles to develop a lightweight modular nozzle and reusable hardware.
At MIT, Manipal, I conducted a coupled-transient thermostructural analysis of brake pads in Ansys, examining heat dissipation, thermal stresses, and material wear. I’m expanding the findings into a manuscript for a prospective conference publication.
