@sethdadson
Early-career petroleum engineer focused on reservoir and production performance analysis.
What I'm looking for
I’m a petroleum engineering graduate (B.Sc., First Class Honors) with a strong focus on reservoir surveillance, performance evaluation, and simulation-driven decision-making. I also earned a Provost Excellence student award, and I build my approach around rigorous technical analysis and clear communication.
At Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (Reservoir Division), I supported reservoir surveillance and performance evaluation through production data analysis, decline curve analysis (DCA), and material balance modelling. I also assisted in interpreting MDT (Modular Formation Dynamics Tester) data to evaluate formation pressure gradients, fluid contacts, and reservoir compartmentalization, and I supported volumetric estimation of hydrocarbon in place (STOIIP/GIIP) using seismic and well log data.
I bring hands-on exposure to reservoir simulation and modelling using PETREL and Eclipse, including building and running reservoir simulation models for basic workflow setup and analysis. I’ve also developed production engineering skills through prosper simulations and artificial lift design, and I’ve strengthened leadership and problem-solving by leading multidisciplinary petroleum engineering project groups and serving as a peer mentor.
