At Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, I research Spanish cinema, audiovisual culture, popular culture, and contemporary media discourse. My doctoral thesis examines the arrival of rock in Spanish cinema, music, industry, and late Francoism.
I’ve published research in specialist journals and presented at national and international conferences. My work has explored film censorship, youth and rock-and-roll coverage, video games, and disinformation.
At IES La Arboleda, I supported teaching in film and video production planning and theatre stage management. I’ve also taught private lessons in communication, humanities, Spanish language and literature, history, and audiovisual culture.
At Restaurante Luarqués, I worked on communication and marketing, creating and updating content, supporting the business’s digital presence, and preparing promotional materials. I’ve also contributed to Revista Pájaro Azul and co-founded, edited, and contributed to the literary blog Café Gijón.
