Sebastian Antony

Responsible for the design and development of High Voltage Distribution Unit for space applications, including circuit card design for digital and power sections based on UltraScale FPGA. Also designed controller cards for switch arrays and solar array battery charging, and low voltage distribution unit control cards.

Designed and developed high-speed SERDES data link between Roman Space Telescope and EGSE test station. Worked on PCIe-based data transfer card for autonomous driving, space wire test automation for NASA, and SONTU card designs for Navy sonar transmit cards.

Created schematics, PCB designs, and design verification checks for various CCAs using Cadence 17.4 tool set. Managed component library, ECOs, and documentation, and performed signal integrity and power integrity analysis using Hyperlynx and Sigrity.

Prototyped and troubleshot new laser metrology products, designed PCBs with PCAD and circuits with OrCAD, and developed firmware in C for Microchip and NXP microcontrollers. Performed system-level testing and provided training and support.

Designed, prototyped, and troubleshot miniature data loggers for harsh environments. Created ECAD library symbols and footprints, designed PCBs with EAGLE, developed firmware with Atmel Studio, and upgraded legacy products.

Manufactured and tested CCAs for satellites per NASA standards, worked on Radiation Hardened RAD 750 series processor design, and performed environmental testing for MIL-STD-1553 bus space cards.

Tested, troubleshot, and debugged RF satellite modem units. Evaluated new firmware loads, hardware revisions, and ECOs, and calibrated modems using spectrum analyzers, power meters, and network analyzers.

Tested and troubleshot process modules for 200-300mm wafer processing machines (PULSAR and EMERALD versions), focusing on electromechanical controls.

Tested and qualified CCAs for AIMs of Dream Liner Flight 787 and 777.

Performed testing and quality assurance of various diode, TVS, and ESD protector devices.

Designed optical fiber amplifiers (EDFA) for optical fiber communications and LIDAR. Worked on microcontroller/processor-based designs, digital and analog design, and prototyping with SMT and PTH components.

Tested and evaluated VXI, ISA, PCI, and cPCI bus-based instrumentation cards. Programmed PLD devices using VHDL and designed PCBs using Mentor Graphics and PCAD, and wrote device drivers in VC++ and VB.

Performed satellite launch vehicle testing and integration, and satellite module testing.
