I am looking for a staff engineer role that offers opportunities for mentoring and leadership.

I am a software development leader with decades of experience in delivering effective software solutions, particularly in Java. My career has spanned various industries, including energy, security, and financial investment, where I have honed my skills in developing and supporting both desktop and web-based applications. I have a strong preference for maintaining and refactoring legacy systems, ensuring they continue to meet modern demands.

As the founder of 'Keep Calm and Refactor,' I have been dedicated to mentoring and training developers, sharing my knowledge at numerous conferences such as Oracle JavaOne and The Developer Conference in Brazil. My role as Lead Developer at Bluware, Inc. has allowed me to lead significant projects, including the transformation of legacy applications into modern web solutions using Spring Boot and React.
