Sawera Saqlain

I'm a clinical biochemist at Ghulam Rabbani Qureshi Welfare Foundation, where I conduct blood and urine diagnostic testing and perform accurate phlebotomy and venipuncture.

I operate and maintain laboratory equipment including centrifuges, Microlab, Swelab hematology analyzer, i-Chroma analyzer, and microscopes while maintaining safety and quality standards. I also supervise biochemical procedures and train junior staff in correct laboratory techniques.

My work extends to supporting dialysis patients in the kidney care unit with health precautions and emotional support. I bring hands-on experience from the National Institute of Health in PCR, microtomy, tissue processing, chromosomal analysis, hemoglobin electrophoresis, and coagulation testing.

With a BS in Biochemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University, I've supported molecular and biochemical experiments, sample preparation, LIMS registration, documentation, and data interpretation. I'm motivated by applying scientific work to real-world health challenges and sustainable healthcare solutions.
